If your server has been globally approved, the Global Team has entrusted you with access to our global services. In return, and to maintain the integrity of our leaderboards, we expect you to follow this code of conduct. The code of conduct doesn't cover everything, but we also trust you to understand what is implied.
It is important to remember that we consider you solely responsible for actions that occur on your server or use your access privileges. This means you should consider your admins and others with access as an extension of yourself.
Server Plugins and Configuration
Do not run modified official plugins. Of the GOKZ plugin package, this is limited to gokz-core
, gokz-global
, gokz-anticheat
, gokz-replays
, and any gokz-mode-*
plugin. Our official plugins include MovementAPI and those available on BitBucket. Please also keep them updated.
Do not run additional plugins or adjust settings that affect gameplay. In general, if it manipulates player movement, it is not allowed. This includes features such as hook, flying, teleportation, and gravity manipulation. For this reason, you should disable some default SourceMod plugins like playercommands
and any fun*
plugin.
The above restriction excludes plugins that are developed very deliberately to not affect timed runs.
Service Access
Do not abuse your access to the global services. They should only be used by our official plugins on your approved servers.
Cheaters
It is expected that you take responsibility to keep your server clean. That means reporting cheaters and cheated times. You are also not allowed hide or remove replay bots as they document global records and may also serve as evidence.
Community Rules
We expect you to at least match our Community Rules and to limit negative interaction with other server communities.
Thank you for providing a friendly, competitive environment for players to compete globally.
