Introduction:
Hello! We are very excited to announce that CSGO KZ as a whole will be having one last tournament (probably..). With the announcement of CS2 and the anticipated deletion of CS:GO, it is highly likely that KZ will not exist as a running, active gamemode on CS:GO which is why we present The Final Act KZ Tournament 2023 brought to you by LLNuke and Larry.
This is a KZT PRO Tournament
This will be hosted on two separate days:
Qualifying Stages - Saturday April 15th (09:00 EST)
Medal Matches - Sunday April 16th (09:00 EST)

Servers:
The matches will be played on EU Servers. The IP will be announced privately to participants a few days before the tournament to set-up settings.
Registration:
The tournament is open to ANYONE
Each player will sign-up for their chosen Tiers they wish to play in.
Example: If I am Larry and I am not good enough to play above T4, I will sign-up for T1, T2, and T3.

Format:
This tournament will be split into two days and is described below. This takes heavy inspiration and approval from the 2020 KZ Summer Olympics Hosted by Nerdneck.
Qualifying Stages:
Each Tier will take all the players and place them in an FFA against each other. The points will follow: 1st 10pts, 2nd 9pts, 3rd 8pts… 10th 1pt. 3 RANDOM MAPS will be chosen from each Tier to play. The Top X point earners will move on.

Medal Matches:
After the Qualifier Stages end, the Medal Matches will commence. The Top X pointer earners will participate in their respected Tier Medal Matches. Their points will reset to 0 when starting these matches. This will also be a FFA style utilizing the same point method. However, this time ALL MAPS in the Tier will be used. The same format will be used as the Qualifying Stages.
Points will be calculated slightly differently depending on what you place. Medal values will be given instead and follow as such:
Gold Medals (1st) - 5pts
Silver Medals (2nd) - 3pts
Bronze Medals (3rd) - 1pt
At the end, the player’s points from their earned medals will be added up to determine our WINNERS!
If a tie occurs in either the Qualifying Stages or Medal Matches a 1v1 will be played on a random map in the respected Tier

I will be paying for most of this out of my pocket. Donations will be accepted during the stream or beforehand and 100% contribute towards the prizes. I will post donations in the Discord to ensure this stays consistent.
