Hello fellow kreedzers, I'm making this post to get the community's opinion on the currently tiered maps. If you have ever felt like a map is wrongfully tiered, this is your chance to tell us that in a structured manner. The point of this post is to give the team maps to discuss for a potential tier change.

LarsD i agree its tiered wrong. i would even put it into t7. I assume the reason why its t5 is because some time ago everyone agreed to put TP difficulty as the criterium for Tiers, but i think intuitively everyone thinks its stupid to rate kzpro maps by their TP difficulty. I dont know if the tier definition is written out somewhere but i suggest we change "Difficulty in TP runs" to "difficulty in the mode it will likely be ran in the most". I know thats all a bit wishy washy, but tiers are very subjective anyways.

Other thoughts/Motivation: It's just really, really long, you don't get "stuck" on any section in particular afaik, but maybe it's a tier 5 because of it. Nevermind, single bhop sections are hard.

Other thoughts/Motivation: kz_reach_v2 is tier 3, and this map is just almost the same but ever so slightly longer.

Other thoughts/Motivation: Only reason is the jump after the booster.

zer0kz the small single bhop sections on badges(similar to strafehop ones) are more like t5 tbh

Other thoughts/Motivation: Not harder than hardvalley. There are some bad/awkward angles on some jumps but thats it.

tier 2 description:

Requires basic knowledge of other KZ mechanics like longjumping, bhop, ladders, surfs.

my interpretation of tier 2 is that users know how to prestrafe in a basic sense, which makes no block distances on this map tier 3
the ladders in the map require knowledge of ladderjumping (see description), but in the map you can easily do every ladderjump with only 1 strafe being the turn to a block
surfs are tier 2, not much to say

how did i not know this was tier 4, i called this the definition of tier 3 for years
hell even orbit said this was medium in 2016 and grass_hard, apricity, underground_crypt, and synergy_x was tier 6 at the time
distances are 5 centimeters on bhops, bhops are multi, surfs take two decent strafes maybe
no normal block distances are tier 4 at all, most of them are tier 2-3
i guess the 260 block is tier 4?? but kz_basics is tier 3 with a 280 block, and kz_sendhelp is tier 4 with a 280 block, so does anything even make sense

Other thoughts/Motivation: grouping this for pretty much the exact same reasons, but the map's more strafy and precise
i'm pretty sure this is tier 3 since you're supposed to understand how to prestrafe

Other thoughts/Motivation: same thing, i don't think the tech is tier 4, and multibhopping exists

Other thoughts/Motivation: sameish thing, not sure if the end bhop section is hard enough to dictate tier 4, everything's multibhop and relatively low distanced
rest of the map is not tier 4 at all

Other thoughts/Motivation: is this some weird artifact of 2015? the highest ljblock in the map is 235, all bhops are multi, bhop distances are tier 1 if you find that out, and i feel sorry for you if the sharp angle turns in the second room are tier 3

Other thoughts/Motivation: I've beat the map many times, and although the first "section" can be a little rough seeing as how there aren't any checkpoints, and the drop is definitely sort of hard, I really think the map overall is quite "medium."

Other thoughts/Motivation: Map doesnt really compare to the t7 standards, it doesnt require any good tech/strafing abilities with very short length bhops and has no triggers against using easier methods for certain jumps/surfs.

Other thoughs/Motivation: The start is fairly easy but it gets pretty hard later on. Did Map approval team just not play this or something?

Recommended Tier: 4
Other thoughts/Motivation: This map requires a decent understanding on how ladders work but not much more that. There isn't really any "tech" required like in kz_ladderdespair and kz_backwards. Hardest strafing part is probably the 160(?) LAJ that you can skip fairly easily.
