Ban Appeal Feedback

Hi everybody.

As I can not make the private ban-appeal public as I wanted to, as feedback, I have to do it that way.
I just want to leave that picture here and hope for feedback too. From my perspective I do not have any good feedback as sorry as I am to say that.
All admins I had to do with until now (1 serveradmin who banned me for hyperscrolling and Zpamm here) did not want to talk very much and explain things to me. For Zpamm, as you can in the pic see below.

As Zplum said the API (new system) does not show your ban from the old system. This is the image that you couldn't see.
Seems like a valid ban. No feedback is really necessary, you cheated, you got banned. It is a pretty simply procedure.

dude getting banned for cheating is completely fucking absurd and I will not have any of this BS anymore!!!!

Just tried to find the normal link to the picture and got it. Thx again but it tells me really nothing more about my first ban than any other site. Link to the picture if anyone else doesn't like Iframes.

And good you guys remember because of an api updated in 2018 "synced with the older bans".
Besides that. Do you really think permabanning macro-users or hyperscrollers will do anything but find new ways to play if they want to?
As if some of the "pros" do not use any binds/macros or AHK (what would've probably not got me banned if I used it.)
Don't get me wrong but I think it is funny how you want to achive more than Valve and just get ppl banned that most likely do not even care about this plugin's global 'penismeter' Stats/Times. (As I can say for myself)

I am not sure if I understand your feedback. But if you mean that I am still banned, and can not play on all the servers with this account:

I can still play on some servers with this account. And if that wasn't I could do other things to play.
what really prevents me from just using other accounts with maybe other IPs? (=ban evasion)

I know that, as stupid as I think it is - for some reasons - to ban 'serverpopulation' from the servers instead of just from the global Stats/Time-system.

Server owners do have the ability to allowed globally banned players on their servers if I remember correctly.

They are for false bans. You were banned twice, neither were false.

The only person you have to be upset with is yourself for cheating not once, but twice lmao. I don't think a single legitimate player in the entire community has any qualms about perma banning repeat offenders. You were given quite a few more replies than were worth giving, honestly.

That is why I wrote the ban appeal, because you have still could not give me prove that I was banned 2 times and it says not permanent banned for hyperscrolling 1 time. As I mentioned in the private 'discussion' with you.
And a permaban instead of a 1-month-ban seems false to me.
But you closed the discussion didn't answer some questions I had.
Do not get me wrong but why are you a member of the global team if you can not prove simple things like that, change things in old databases (kzstats.com) that (i am quiet sure) you didn't have to do with at the time the ban happened and do not seem to like investing time in professional things on this forum. (idk what the global team here has to do and did not find any information about it so I'd appreciate some info too if you would like to tell me)

I am not upset for anyone but the fact, volunteer/job or just any situation in life, you should not things you do not like to do because: 'Well meant is not well done'. (in most cases)
If that saying exists in the english language.
Also I'd like to know where you saw both of my bans. I'd appreciate links/pictures. 🙂

seemed wrong for me, time dependend, it tempted me to check all those pictures again.
I indeed did not compare all the images after I isolated the pure imgur link in this discussion neither I calculated the timestamp. (was a bit in a hurry the times I answered in this thread)
In the ban appeal I didn't bother to try around much with that wrapped link as I managed to see a very pixelated version of it that I could barely read. (that is why I kept asking for the other ban.)

Still my feedback here is:
Why don't you try to explain things in more detail.
For me you are writing like bans are graved in stone because they are in some old database
(or whatever you want to call it, @f0restKZ) a casual can not see online. (by the looks of it there is no browser access to it anymore?)
Plugin/game/whatever if you offer some sort of "customer support" I prefer some sort of professionality/involvement/dedication for it.

I do not really want to discuss this here any further because in the simplicity of your statement you are right for sure.
But thank you for your feedback too.
I did read this forum a bit. And I saw that some members of the global team are really contributing to the plugin.
For me 'GlobalTeam' did sound more like only Webmasters/Mods of this Website.

idk what this has to do with the discussion but I try:
I really do not care anymore about getting unbanned (As I wrote in the last post of my BanAppeal).
Just tried to write a ban appeal because I really can not remember any restrictions/bans in 2016 and therefor thought I got punished the wrong way.
Still I only can remember 1 ban -- and I really wonder how I shouldn't have noticed a 1-month ban as I played very active that time as I remember. But nvm :S
And now my confusion about the 2 different bans you saw is lifted I understand all that comments better.

Just some general feedback at the end here as the discussion did draw some attention and so I do not wake the semi-dead forum again with a new discussion:

'Hats off' and respect to the creators and contributors of this plugin and all it's mods. All the changes it expirienced over the years and you are still on it trying to make it better, suitable for everybody. Keep at it. (still I do not care about rankings/other "penismeters")
Also respect for that beautiful but minimalistic designed forum and all the other global-api sites.
Sure there are some things that are too modern for me, like that discord thing, but it fits and as I've read from other sources it is a popular way for information exchange too. (maybe some information I was missing here on the forum)

Maybe some site admin got inspired in the 2 discussions with me what to change on the site because, as example, I'd not give some normal user the right to change the topic back after a mod changed it.

Btw. no offense because I wrote "semi-dead".Most communities changed over the years and maybe do not use forums that often anymore.

And one last question:
If a plugins movement differs that much from the original game, why don't write your own game on the engine you like instead of investing more and more time to write just plugins?
You then may have a better control in terms of cheaters too.
I know there is already such a game, and for the first look it seems to be OpenSource too. Didn't spend time reading on that, so it can be BS)

You then may have a better control in terms of cheaters too.

accessibility (avg 100k unique players per month is a lot and you won't be able to really get that on a separate game imo) and the fact that it'd take a bit too long for less than a handful of devs who are all unpaid to make anything that can really be used

I did play with that thought of an own server instead of jumping around offline/on the servers I can still join now to have one more server people can play on and maybe catch more people to use that plugin.
I read the "Global Server Owner Code of Conduct" and did not see anything that disallows me to host a server.
I only have the apprehension I still may not join my own server then.

I also want to get into mapping again (hammer shouldn't be that different to the one from 'UT2k4' for what I saw)
But all that when I have more time to do so.

Yeah, I think I've overlooked very much. As I thought more about that and read your post I got more pros then cons for a plugin with ease. Thank you for your answer.

First I'd have said, just do it like in CS:GO let ppl host their own servers. But then things like popularity of a game and how to manage the whole serverside/clientside came into my mind. And that, as you said "for less then a handful of devs", may be problematic enough.

Okay that's a really long time, didn't know that.
Also I didn't really bother to try any of those games because of the time I'd have to invest again. (perhaps easy to learn, hard to master)
And I like the fact in CS:GO that you can play all that different modes. If more people think like that it may be again a "pro" for the plugin.
